Another finish!

Yesterday was such a happy day! This quilt top had hung around for ages, and being the world's worst machine quilter, I just put off finishing it up. Finally I was reading Alex Anderson's book on machine quilting, and decided that I was going to learn how to do it! So I got up in the morning, set up my work-space, put on my gloves, and got to work. The straight lines were easy enough, but having never done that meander/stipple stuff, I was pretty scared. It occured to me that there are lots of quilters out there who can do it, so why shouldn't I be able to? And you know what--it's really fun!

This is my first visit with you and I have enjoyed it so. 23 grandchildren? 7 children? And you have time to quilt? I am impressed.
