Scrappy Monday!

While I was straightening up my stash (there will be NO pictures, don't even THINK about it), I came across the basket of blue and yellow scraps, left over from the Simply Strippy quilt I made a year ago. It's a shame to let these sweet little fabrics just sit in a basket. Got four blocks made already. This is going to be a nice little summer quilt. For some reason, every spring I seem to use the same colors. I guess they remind me of the fresh blue skies of spring and the pretty yellow of the daffodils and forsythia, some of the first things to bloom in the springtime.
