Found: another quilt

I had forgotten completely about this one. It was the baby quilt I made when my grandson was born. This was the first (and only) time I had worked with chenille. I bought some vintage chenille squares on eBay, and thought they would be perfect for this baby quilt. What a mess the chenille made--lint everywhere. My sewing machine was most unhappy. And it was really hard to sew over those bumps in the fabric. I will never ever sew with chenille again, but I really do like how it came out, especially with the bought satin binding I bound it with. I love that silky feel.
