American Doll Quilts

I love this book by Kathleen Tracy. It's out of print, but can still be downloaded as an e-book from Martingale Publishing. The quilts are so quaint and endearing, one can just imagine a young child's head bent over one of them, sewing tiny stitches by the firelight.
We are so lucky today to have a variety of quilting possibilities, from the reproduction to the very modern. Whatever suits your fancy, you can make it. And it's nice that today I can make a quilt in reproduction fabrics, while tomorrow I can choose to make something modern and updated. Isn't that fun?

I also just saw this book on a blog and was thinking of down loading it. We think alike.
