Happy Memories


It's been a long day. Here in Israel, it's already night. Israel's Memorial Day has begun, with solemn ceremonies in remembrance of our fallen soldiers and victims of terror. The day after Memorial Day is always Israel Independence Day, which is a day off from work and school for many, and a fun time. Many families go to the parks and lots of people barbecue. That reminds me of our lovely trip to a beautiful park near Tel Aviv with our grandchildren a couple of weeks ago. Just some of the colorful flowers...

If you look in the background you can see a fountain on the left (a white line of water shooting straight up in the air). Now look to the right in the background, and if you look hard you can see the rainbow that is formed by the fountain. The kids loved that!
