On My Design Floor

Yesterday I woke up at 5:30, suddenly realizing I hadn't paid the credit card bills (there are 5 of them). Ran screaming down the steps to my computer (I pay my bills online) and hurried to check how bad the situation was. Had to hold my breath while the computer was booting up (takes forever, takes forever), and then I saw it...I had paid them all at the end of October. Just like I was supposed to. Guess I had had one of those anxiety dreams.

Then in the afternoon, I spent some time with my little grandsons at the park. (Forgot the camera, remembered the chocolate bars.) While I was admiring how sweet and smart they are, and how cute too, I suddenly remembered that their mother is expecting...and due any day now...and no baby quilt in sight! How could I have overlooked this? So quick as could be, after supper I pulled out my 1930's charm squares and got to work. It's looking nice so far, isn't it?

It looks very fresh - lovely for a little sweetheart! Are you adding the white triangles in the corners as triangles, or using squares and then chopping of the surplus smaller HST ?
