A Little Experiment

When my daughter came from Houston last month, one of the things she brought me was this:

I had seen the Lil' Twister appearing on lots of blogs and was really curious to see how it works. So today I found a little charm pack of Strawberry Shortcake fabric and decided to give it a whirl.

I couldn't believe how well it works. In a very short time I had the cutest little quilt top with lots of little whirlygigs. The only thing I would do differently next time (and there will be a next time, now that I know how easy it is!) is to aim for a lot more contrast.

Have you used the Lil' Twister? Isn't it fun?

I'm not familiar with this at all. There is always something new to learn in quilting. Your little quilt is very cute.

Susan I cannot believe how quickly you whipped that up! It is lovely and yes, I too would like more contrast but it is still lovely.
