My Babies

My daughter was here with us for a month, with her husband and five children. I worked like mad of course, cooking and doing laundry, thinking of fun places to go every day.

It took a month to prepare for their visit, and for the Passover holiday. I painted and furnished the apartment they would stay in.

For a month, I don't think I sewed a single stitch. Instead I ran after this little one--and can he ever go fast!

A week ago they went back to Houston. It took a week to get my house back in order (and I don't think I'm finished yet!). I went back to studying for my last college course (the dreaded College Mathematics). I made two little mug rugs for my best, best friends (pictures to follow). All the toys and games are back where they belong. I only have to do laundry and cook for three. So life feels like it's getting back to normal.
And while that is good, and while it is a relief to get to rest a little, still... I miss my babies and wish they were here. (sniffle)
