INTRODUCING...

...our new little quilt group in Jerusalem!  We don't have a name yet, and there are only three of us so far, but we sure are having fun! Here is Sahra, a BRAND NEW QUILTER, with her very first baby quilt. Don't you love her colors?
I made this little quilt for our newest addition to the family.  Used the "tube method" from Bonnie Hunter's "Streak of Sunshine" pattern. This quilt went together lickety-split!  (Thanks for the fabrics, Christine!)

Have been putting together some little Shoo-Fly blocks, using batiks and hand-dyes. I love putting scraps to good use.

Bracha pieced this little quilt years ago to donate to a charity project. The project closed down and I ended up holding onto the quilt top for 11 years.  I brought it to the meeting today to give back to Bracha, who was so surprised to see it.

Another great quilt by Bracha. She has used this fishy fabric before. She always finds a great setting for it and perfect fabrics to pair it with.

A new Dresden Plate addict...

Don't you just love this fabric with the pretty little dresses? Can you believe it's a "cheater" panel? Bracha is going to sew colored ric rac around each dress, so it will be 3-dimensional.

A teddy bear quilt for a boy...
A little Double Hourglass quilt. Tutorial courtesy of the Missouri Star Quilt Company.

Fruit jars--yum!

Paper-pieced sailboats. Perfect for a little boy.

Now you've seen the "fashion show" from our new little quilt group.  Any other quilters in Jerusalem who would like to join us too?
