Whenever I am feeling low, a little 9 patch sewing can always lift my spirits. There's something homey and comforting about it. Maybe because it's so nice to know that even the youngest quilter starts on a 9 patch, and it's easily attainable by all. Those little 1 inch squares
can be made from the smallest of scraps, but they end up part of something so sweet.
In a day it's sewn up, borders and all, and sits waiting patiently for the quilting. Just a little something for me to smile at, as it rests on my sewing table.
