My little Civil War Four Patch doll quilt is quilted, and I just need to add the binding. I learned to hand-quilt more than 30 years ago, and still find it very calming and meditative. Something calming is certainly in order nowadays, as things here in Israel are far from calm. Am thinking of writing a new blog post, "Quilting under fire", or a tutorial on "How to Hand Quilt in a Bomb Shelter." Sounds catchy, no?

Glad you're keeping your sense of humor. It makes life more bearable. I can't imagine what it feels like to live under Israel's circumstances. Keeping you all in prayer.
