Snow Day!

Well, the kids got their wish. They got snow and they got the day off from school. What they are calling "heavy snow" was about an inch or less, is already melting, and didn't make very good snowmen. But it was better than nothing! I'm happy I don't have to go out to anywhere, as the roads are treacherous and there have been a lot of accidents already becausse of the icy conditions.

Menucha's friend came over and they have been playing (out in the snow and indoors) the whole morning, so guess what I got to do? Finished piecing the blocks for the blue and cream Scrappy Mountain Majesties, and now I'm sewing the blocks together. Will have a photo to post by this afternoon. Then I just have to decide what to do for the borders...and drink some hot cocoa!

Hi Susan,

Just discovered your blog by "chance".

Snow in Jerusalem, doesn't happen to often. Here in Belgium we didn't see any snowflake yet.

God bless you and all your beloved children. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the revelation of the Messiah,

Emile Carp
