This is the pattern I started with for the Amish Schoolhouses. 
When I got to the borders, I thought it was just too plain for me. Why not pretty it up a bit? There are no Quilt Police in the vicinity anyways. So here goes. A little Triangle refresher never hurts. I'll quilt it and put on a black binding to frame it.
