Sara brought such beautiful batik fabrics to the meeting yesterday. They were simply fabulous. I find batiks so hard to cut into--each one is like a work of art. So far I have only been able to make two quilts with batiks--the rest of my collection is languishing in the bins. One day I will cut them up and make something nice. Meanwhile, here is a picture of one I made a couple of years ago. Maybe I posted this already to my blog, I don't remember. If I did, well here it is again. Pattern was from Stack a New Deck, by Karla Alexander. I just love those Sunflower batiks, they are my favorites!
