Jerusalem's String Bridge

On the way back from the quilt meetings in Betar, I can see the String Bridge from the window of the bus. While many people, including myself, were dismayed at the cost of this project, it really is quite beautiful. Designed by Calavatra, the Spanish architect, the bridge looks different from every angle. At the base of the strings is a bridge where our new Light Rail trains will turn around to return to the beginning of the route.

Jerusalem is a fascinating mix of ancient and modern.
