Another Distraction

Have almost cut out all of my Kaffe circles. Yes, it's true I was a chicken and drew around the CD with a pencil on the charm squares, then I cut the circles out with a scissors, instead of using the rotary cutter to cut around the disc. But that's me.

And yes, it's true the original Circle Quilt had white background squares, and every quilt I have seen made from this tutorial has had a white background. But I auditioned my lovely circles on white fabric and it didn't really speak to me. So here is my next attempt: a turquoise hand-dye. I think it adds some depth. What do you think about it?
