Going up Masada!

One can go up to the top of Masada by foot, a pretty strenuous climb, or go in style in a lovely little cable car. Each one probably holds about 30 people. Here is a view of one of the cars coming down, taken from our car as we were going up...
My girls at the top of Masada. On the right is daughter Menucha, on the left is granddaughter Aviva. Aviva is about 2 1/2 years older than Menucha, and they are good friends. In the background: the Dead Sea.

Hi Susan!
It's been a while since I've had a chance to visit my favorite blogs and see what you all are up to. Absolutely wonderful pictures of Masada, the Dead Sea, and Jerusalem etc. I vacation vicariously through those pictures! Looking forward to seeing the Succot booth you lived/slept in. I have a couple "made in China" quilts that I still use. One's a little raggedy now but I've been surprised that they've held up as well as they have.
