Next Stop on the Tour

Our next stop was at a dairy farm that features a robot that milks the cows. The cows come in to the milking station on their own when they know they need to be milked. The robot cleans the udder, then milks them while the cow enjoys a tasty snack. When the milking is finished, the cow just walks out on its own. These cows are completely trained!

Whose idea was this???

Here I am. The cow was actually a lot bigger than it looks in this picture. As you can see, the weather was quite warm. See the man in his shirtsleeves? I started out with a coat, but there was no need. The temps were in the high 70's, low 80's. Perfect weather for a nice trip!
