One of our traditions on the Purim holiday is to give gifts, usually consisting of food. Well, look what Etty gave out at our quilt meeting on Monday. Not just food (sorry, some of the candy disappeared so it didn't make it into the picture), but also this darling thread catcher, two spools of just-the-right-color thread, a new seam ripper (can always use another one of those!), a tape measure, needle threader, and best of all, a great note composed by Etty herself, with the help of her always-supportive husband, the Master Punster.
Etty made one of these little packages for each of the quilters in our group. Thanks again Etty, your generosity is amazing!
