On My Design Wall

Well, it's not perfect, and it still needs borders & quilting, but I'm so happy to have this top pretty much completed.
This was made with a pattern in Kathleen Tracy's book, Remembering Adelia, which I love. Most of the quilts in the book are doll quilt size, or good for wall-hangings. This was the only one that was really bed-sized, so I decided it would be the best one for me to make. I really have enough doll quilts, and don't have anywhere to display them at this point anyway.
I want to quilt this one with Baptist Fans and have it for my very own.

The quilt is lovely and you put the top together so fast. You've inspired me to make this quilt also, so I've ordered the book.

Absolutely awesome!! I love it - the simplicity yet sophistication. (I don't know if that is the right word). I really like it.
