This beautiful Dresden Plate was spotted at the quilt meeting this morning at Etty's house. Made by Esther, who for some reason was hiding behind the block and wouldn't come out! But doesn't this have the loveliest vintage look? I really love the flowered fabric she used for the center. Doesn't it really make the whole thing beautiful? I have always seen either solid circles in the center, or fabric with dots (like in the Dresden Plate in the Material Obsession II). This is the first time I saw a flower fabric used, and I love it!

If you double-click on the photo, you can see that the background is some very pretty pre-quilted fabric. I never saw that either. Well, I do love seeing new things. And I learn something new every day.
