The Slow Boats to China

There's nothing like a new baby in the family to make one hurry up and finish a quilt. I pieced these little Sailboat blocks a couple of years ago, and never did anything with them. Well, here they are, finally put together! I'd like to get it quilted and bound by Thursday, when we'll be seeing the new baby and his parents at their home in the south.

If you double-click on the photo, I think you can see that the "sailboat" fabric is red with white stars. The "water" is a lovely blue print, it has circles on it that look like ripples.

I'm really happy about finally finishing this UFO.

This is going to be a wonderful quilt. Thanks for bringing it to our group today for all of us to see.
