The Purpose of Life

From a CAT'S perspective, that is...

Thing 1 and Thing 2. If there is mischief to be had, these two will find it...
They love to explore every little hidey-hole and nook and cranny around the house.

They adore the great outdoors and the feel of fresh air... They will never pass up the opportunity to sit on a quilt or mess up quilt blocks that have been painstakingly arranged on the floor...

But on Sunday Thing 1 and Thing 2 (Fester and Wednesday) discovered their Purpose in Life. I will not gross you out with pictures of THAT ADVENTURE.  Suffice it to say that they were exploring up on the roof and came upon a nest with two baby doves. These were so young they didn't even have any feathers yet. How do I know? Because Thing 1 and Thing 2 brought their discoveries into the house for us to ooh and ahh over, as if we should be proud of them for such an accomplishment.  Needless to say, there was NO oohing and ahhing. Just some screaming (on my part) and then I had to clean things up.  Aren't you glad you don't have a cat?

Animals sure know how to show their love, don't they? My dog brings baby bunnies. Gack!! I'm grateful Hubby brings flowers ;)
