What I'm Working On

These blocks were pieced a couple of years ago, and they were sashed with a royal blue fabric that did nothing for them. So I took the whole thing apart. (I'm getting really good at that. Do you think I could offer my services as a professional ripper? How much do you think I could charge? JUST WONDERING.)
The blocks languished in a basket until today, when boredom hit me and I pawed through my mess stash looking for something that would just require some easy stitching.  Too hot here to do anything very complicated.

It was fun putting all the blocks together.

I think they are happier now.

Now I have to ponder the Borders Dilemma. To border or not to border? You may have already figured out that I am no longer a Border Person. (a Borderline Personality perhaps, but a Border Person, never!) Really, if it was up to me, I would just quilt it, slap on a red binding, and throw it on the couch.  But maybe that wouldn't be fair to these poor blocks. So I'll take a vote: what would you do if this colorful quilt was your own? Would you like it with a border or without? Perhaps a narrow red border and then a "piano keys" border made with all the solids used in the center? Or do you think that would be overkill?
Let me know what you think.  I'd really like to know!

I agree with the first three comments after pondering it for a while, I would just add the red binding.

I vote for just a red binding. Sometimes the simple way is the best way.
