I borrowed this photo from Angela Walters' blog this morning. Can you see the empty space right up front where I should could would have been sitting in her classroom on Monday?
Well, my mother always told me, "You can't live life backwards". Such a wise woman, my mom. I got a really nice e-mail from the organizers of Festival, and a refund of my payment since I wasn't able to make it. And they ended with their hope that I will be able to make it next year. Which is my hope too.
See you next year, Angela!

perhaps i will tag along next year as well...
Of course I remember you! (This makes no sense right now, because it is in response to a post I wrote in October 2009 ("Who's your daddy?")and on which you commented in January of 2010, that I just happened to be drawn to today (due to a Facebook status of a friend from Baltimore). I must have seen the comment back then -- but for some reason, it didn't register. How is your husband? How are you? How are you enjoying life in Israel (apart from the obvious tzuris of missing your offspring and grandchildren, and your husband's trauma)? Nothing is for no reason. Please feel free to write to me at rutimizrachi@gmail.com. If you still remember who the heck I am, that is. ;-) May we share smachot.
