Simply Strippy

Forgot to mention a couple of things about the Simply Strippy quilt pictured in my last post. First of all, I have to give credit to the wonderful Bonnie Hunter, who put the instructions for making the quilt on her fabulous website, www.quiltville.com. It was the most fun quilt I ever pieced! The piecing took one day, but then I decided (must have been crazy) to quilt it by hand in Baptist Fans, and that took about 8 months. It was really very pleasant, and it was nice and cozy sitting under that quilt and quilting it on those cold nights. You can click on the photo to enlarge it and see all the quilting. I would do it again!
