Circle Quilt Day

Have been having a great time today. My dear mother, who doesn't mind having endless packages of fabric and other quilty things delivered to her house for me, brought me three packs of 5" Kaffe Fassett squares when she came to visit last week. Thank you mom! You're the greatest! I love these fabrics and have really been looking forward to doing something with them. So... I have been cutting them up into circles...

to make this quilt that was featured on Make It A Wonderful Life

You can find the tutorial there, and it's super easy and fun. You make the circles by cutting around an old CD. It doesn't get easier than that! And what a great way to showcase lots of these amazing fabrics in one quilt! Thanks again, Mom. I love you!

Love your circles, Susan. Recently, I bought a bunch of Jane Sassaman fabrics with the plan in mind to make a circles quilt. A little different idea than this one, but it will be circles. Can't wait to have the time to actually make it!
