Things have been so busy lately. Between spending long hours at the hospital with my mother-in-law and also watching little Ariel, I had almost forgotten that Hanukkah was coming. An eight-day holiday, it begins on Friday night.

Last night my son took Ariel home to their house for the night, and I had some quiet moments to look around for the Hanukkah quilt I made a number of years ago. I enjoyed making this quilt. The colors took me out of my usual comfort zone, and suddenly I discovered I love purple!

Now I have to find the perfect place to hang it up. And I need to do something about that fold line down the center. Why didn't I store this thing FLAT?

What a great quilt! I have a pair of different Chanukah quilts and I have just got them out to put in the living room. Happy Chanukah!
