On The Road Again

Yes, Menucha and I are travelling again. Here she is, in the Tel Aviv airport, ready for adventure.

Thirteen hours flying time from Tel Aviv to Atlanta, and another couple of hours from Atlanta to Houston. We're tired, but we're here! My big daughter looks great, and it looks like that baby is due any day now. The kids covered the front door with welcome signs, and the oldest, Rivky, wrote out a welcome message on some rocks by the front walkway.

Of course, one of the first things I had to do was check my mail. Yes, here it is, the Wildflower Serenade fabric for borders on the Scrappy Nine Patch. Three charm packs of Everything but the Kitchen Sink, plus the EZ Dresden ruler (sorry it's upside down), for a Dresden Plate I can't wait to make. Two Turnovers of Swanky that are going to make up the nicest little Pinwheel quilt. And a Honey Bun of Sandy Gervais's Objects of Desire. I'm still deciding what I want to do with that one.

And maybe I was the most excited about this:
I bought it new, but can tell that it is going to get a lot of wear and tear. These beautiful Amish quilts are timeless, and I could look at them over and over again.
